This example demonstrates Gestalt's Principle of closure. This logo exemplifies closure because the space is not completely enclosed. Yet enough of the shape of the triangle is indicated, that the circles around it don't need to be touching to display the form of a triangle. The shape of the triangle is filled in with the light and dark areas forming the shapes that compose the logo.
